Hello, Smith community!

I’m Martha Dowell, your Smith Library Media Specialist. I’ve been reading nonstop since I was a kid. I have a degree in English and Early Childhood Education from the College of Wooster, in Wooster, Ohio– Go Scots!! I also studied to become a Reading Specialist at the University of Washington–Go Cougs!!

My Grandma Betty loved to say, “Books are our friends!” How right she was. Your Smith Library is full of books that are waiting to befriend you!

I look forward to seeing you in the Library.
